Before transitioning into real estate, he spent decades in the hospitality industry, serving in leadership and Director of Sales roles for hotels and ski resorts throughout Colorado and beyond. His career took him across the world, where he successfully represented luxury destinations, resorts, and hospitality brands by doing what he does best — building honest, lasting relationships with people.

Throughout his hospitality career, Alan earned a reputation for being approachable, relatable, and genuine. Clients and colleagues valued his communication style, integrity, and ability to truly listen — qualities that now translate naturally into helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate decisions with confidence.

Originally rooted in Colorado’s mountain communities, Alan has long been connected to the lifestyle and character that make Western Colorado so special. His experience living and working in ski towns, along with his background managing private rental properties and personally investing in real estate, ultimately inspired him to pursue his real estate license and help others find their place in Colorado.

Now with SSC & Company Real Estate, Alan focuses on residential properties throughout the I-70 corridor between DeBeque and Glenwood Springs.
