Simon is a native of Sydney, Australia, and a lifelong hotelier. His career highlights include serving as Managing Director of The Little Nell, Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel. This background in ultra-luxury hospitality shapes the way SSC & Company serves its clients — with anticipatory service, discretion, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Susan moved to Colorado in 2003 from Captiva Island, Florida, and quickly immersed herself in the Aspen community. Her previous career includes luxury hotel sales and a leadership role as Regional Vice President at Stewart Title, where she honed the negotiation skills and attention to detail that define her real estate practice. Susan is also a proud supporter of the Aspen Homeless Shelter and Lucky Day Animal Rescue.
Beyond residential real estate, Simon and Susan are the owners of The Residence Hotel in Aspen, bringing their hospitality vision to the vacation rental market. Their combined experience in development, design, and property management gives SSC & Company clients a unique advantage when evaluating properties and investment opportunities across the Roaring Fork Valley.
Susan and Simon are proud parents of Sydney and Lachlan, and enjoy skiing, cycling, and paddleboarding as a family throughout the year.
